Brief Summary of Changes.

The following is a summary of the changes resulting from the AGM.
Full details will be posted on www.fedbowls.co.uk before the end of december, including Rules & Constitution updates.

Rules & Constitution changes.
Voting rights were changed.
In summary, the Treasurer will be allowed to vote on all committees of which he/she is part of.
The Umpires Secretary (currently Keith Fox) and Safeguarding Officer (currently Jeanette Murphy) will be part of the NEC and will be allowed to vote. Those three officers will also have voting rights at the AGM.

Ladies Shorts etc.
The Amendment put forward by Humberside was 'carried', meaning that the original Proposal (which had 5 parts) was not voted on.
The amended rules are summarised as: "tailored or comfort fit style . . . . with or without EWBF logo" will be permitted.
There were also changes to bowling shoes and off-green dress.

Victor/Vitrix Ludorum.
The points awarded for finalists in outdoor mixed competitions will be split between the two awards.

U25 Definition.
Rules were clarified about the exact age restriction allowing entry.

Men's match Dress:
To be at the discretion of each County, choosing from several options.
Arrival at matches in match dress, especially for the Derbyshire Trophy, was considered to be of importance.
