To all of my fellow friends, bowlers and officers, it is with great pride and pleasure to be the national president for 2026. I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart for this great opportunity and trust in me, my county, Derbyshire EBF, my club Zingari, Derby West End and all of my fellow bowlers. 
I would also like to thank the NIC Exec committee for all of the support and guidance you have given me over the past 3 years. 
I am excited to be attending many more county games and meeting all players from across the federation.

John Bowley - President Derbyshire EBF 2025/26
On behalf of the Bowlers of Derbyshire,
firstly can I thank Bernie for his most successful year as President and also for his, Martin and Ray’s help throughout my year as Vice President. 
I am extremely proud to become Derbyshire EBF President for the 2025-6 season and to now have also been President of both codes of Derbyshire Bowls. 
The EBF has already many loyal executives and players but my main task is to try and encourage the younger players, to not only continue playing but hopefully to take up other roles as well for Derbyshire, as they are our future. 
Unfortunately at the time of writing I cannot welcome the Ladies President into her position but I’m hoping that situation can be quickly resolved. 
Can I therefore wish all of you a successful season at your clubs and let’s make it a great year for the Derbyshire County teams and players in the Skegness Championships.

Ladies of Derbyshire. 
It is a great honour to be elected your President for the coming season, 2026, and i will do my very best to uphold the traditions and standards of Derbyshire Womens County Bowls Association. 
Thank you all for making me feel so welcome when i arrived in your county five years ago, and giving me this opportunity to represent our County. 
Bowls is a truly inclusive sport and over the years has brought me much pleasure. 
Many friendships are made on and around the greens and i am looking forward to renewing those i have already made and making many more new ones along the way. 
Bowls has also given me the chance to explore different parts of the country and visit so many interesting greens. 
My very best wishes to our County Teams, the Harry Carver Indoor Trophy team and all who will represent Derbyshire EWBF at the National Championships in Lincoln and Skegness. 
Finally, i am looking forward to working alongside our Men's President Bernie Greenough, hopefully you will be seeing a lot of us both during the coming Months.
